Nate Saint House

Good morning,

We had a busy day on Saturday. The ladies entertained all the local mission women, probably 35, and the men cooked them brunch. The men also provided day care for all the mothers with children.

In the afternoon we took a tour of the local mission air service, Mission Aviation Fellowship. This is the organization that Nate Saint flew with back in the 50's. We then toured the town of Shell, visiting the old building housing Casa de Fe, the Waskosky's (Bible translators who we will help), Emaus (the local free school) and Casa de Fe.

The Nate Saint House was ready to collapse due to termite infestation and a team came to Shell last summer and restored the home with termite resistant wood. Ron Grant, one of the local missionaries who works for MAF gave us a great tour of not only MAF but also the Nate Saint House. The saved enough of the original wood to maintain the kitchen and radio room in their original state.

One of the locals made us arroz con pollo (chicken and rice) with fresh mango, pineapple and avocado for supper. Awesome.

Today we are going to celebrate worship service the with children of Casa de Fe.

Have a great day,

Bob and Vicky
