Packing...

I apologize for not taking a picture.  Packing day is usually pretty hectic but yesterday it went really well.  We are allowed to bring one checked bag and one carryon bag on the plane at no charge.  We are interested in saving money so if is important for the team members to "pack light" so that we can transport all the materials requested by Patti Sue and Casa de Fe as well as Hospital Vozandes del Oriente and special requests of the missionaries in Shell.  Packing went exceedingly well.  The bus that will transport us to Minneapolis on Thursday morning, showed up early and we loaded all our checked baggage and carryon bags onto the bus.  On Thursday morning all we need to do is show up at 0330 with our guitars, purses or backpacks, get on the bus and we are on our way.  It could not have gone smoother.  We then did a little singing…it is a joy to have two guitar players join me playing the guitar this year.  I am especially excited to have our son, Matthew, join us on this trip.  We are going to use his musical skills, guitar playing and singing, to energize the team.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
